Takanakuy es el arte marcial de los pobladores de una provincia peruana que se ha hecho viral en redes sociales. Mientras unos disfrutan de una danza tradicional, otros se preparan para arreglar sus problemas a los golpes. La plaza de toros de la localidad peruana de Santo Tomás se convierte en un coliseo romano en el que hombres y mujeres se convocan para limar, cual gladiadores, todas sus asperezas.
Ellos son los herederos de un polémico arte marcial conocido como takanakuy, que en quechua significa golpearse entre sí. Nadie está obligado a batirse en duelo, pero si llega a la arena es porque ha aceptado las reglas.
El takanakuy tiene su propio canal en YouTube, con más de 600.000 suscriptores, toda una comunidad dispuesta a resolver conflictos de formas poco ortodoxas y a mantener, dicen sus seguidores, el espíritu guerrero de sus pueblos.
A este maratón se unió un perrito que, ingenuamente, se fue detrás de los que buscaban el sueño americano. El can resultó tener dueño, unos comerciantes de Tijuana que tuvieron que pedirles a las autoridades fronterizas devolverles al animal.
Así como el perrito travieso, una gata tomó protagonismo, pues hay muchos que aseguran que este animal tiene el mejor trabajo del mundo.
La felina se tumba panza arriba en las calles turcas y recibe dinero de los transeúntes. Podría decirse que le pagan por holgazanear.
