¡Precaución! Las lluvias continuarán durante la noche de este miércoles, según el IMN
De acuerdo con las previsiones, las lluvias serán intensas.
El Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN) emitió un pronóstico actualizado que advierte sobre la continuación de lluvias intensas en diversas regiones del país durante la noche de este miércoles, debido a condiciones atmosféricas inestables en la atmósfera alta, la actividad de la Zona de Convergencia Intertropical y factores locales.
Las fuertes lluvias que han afectado a Costa Rica en los últimos días son resultado de la interacción de varios factores meteorológicos. Según el IMN, las condiciones inestables en la atmósfera alta han propiciado la formación de núcleos convectivos en diferentes partes del territorio nacional.
Según el análisis de imágenes de satélite y radar del IMN, se han identificado núcleos convectivos activos en varias zonas del país. Los más intensos se encuentran en las llanuras de San Carlos y los Guatusos, así como al oeste de la cordillera central.
Se pronostica que los alrededores de Sarapiquí, Ciudad Quesada y la frontera con Nicaragua experimentarán aguaceros intensos en las próximas 1-3 horas, con montos estimados entre 40 y 70 mm.
Se espera que estas regiones continúen experimentando actividad lluviosa variable durante la tarde y parte de la noche, con montos estimados entre 30 y 50 mm. Se anticipa que las precipitaciones disminuirán gradualmente a medida que avance la noche.
El IMN hace un llamado especial a prestar atención en el Valle Central debido a las inundaciones y los altos montos de lluvia registrados el martes anterior.
También se advierte sobre la situación en Sarapiquí, los alrededores del Braulio Carrillo en el Caribe Norte, la Zona Norte y la zona fronteriza con Panamá, ya que estas áreas presentan niveles de saturación de suelos elevados, aumentando el riesgo de incidentes relacionados con las lluvias. Se insta a la población a tomar precauciones y estar atenta a los comunicados de las autoridades locales.
