¡Qué nivel! Costarricense se convirtió en la tercera tica en conquistar la Triple Corona de Maratones Acuáticas
La tica para lograr este reconocimiento completó El Canal de La Mancha entre Inglaterra y Francia, nadando aproximadamente 50 kilómetros en total.
Una vez más una costarricense deja el nombre del país en alto, tras haber logrado un hecho histórico.
Se trata de la experimentada nadadora tica de aguas abiertas, Carolina Mora Solano de 45 años, quien recientemente conquistó la Triple Corona de Maratones Acuáticas.
Con esta hazaña Mora se convirtió en la tercera costarricense en cruzar El Canal de la Mancha entre Inglaterra y Francia y conseguir la Triple Corona.
Asimismo, “Kurt Niehaus Swim Academy”detalló que la tica para conquistar El Canal de La Mancha tuvo muchos retos, por lo que sin duda esto es algo de aplaudir.
“Caro tuvo muchos retos, como fuertes vientos, oleaje y corrientes que hicieron de su travesía un momento inolvidable, donde el apoyo y la preparación como atleta fueron clave”, indicaron en las redes sociales de la academia.
¿Qué es Triple Corona de Aguas Abiertas?
Cabe destacar que a nivel histórico para Costa Rica solo tres atletas ricos han logrado la Triple Corona, dos mujeres y un hombre.
