Apple lo admite: titanio del iPhone 15 Pro y iPhone 15 Pro Max se ‘decolora’ por tus manos
Varios usuarios reportaron que el marco de titanio de estos iPhone 15 se estaba decolorando. Apple tuvo que salir a aclarar por qué ocurría esto y qué hacer para evitarlo.
Ya comenzó la venta del iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro y iPhone 15 Pro Max, y miles de fans de la manzana están haciendo largas colas afuera de las Apple Store para tener estos nuevos teléfonos. Si tú piensas adquirir alguno de ellos, sobre todo las versiones más caras, debes saber que los de Cupertino acaban de admitir que el titanio de su marco puede decolorarse por estar en contacto con tus manos.
Aunque los nuevos iPhone 15 recién han comenzado a venderse este 22 de setiembre de 2023 en varias ciudades del mundo, muchas personas (sobre todo creadores de contenido) han podido probarlo con anticipación. Aunque las pruebas de rendimiento y fotografía han salido excelentes, hubo un pequeño detalle con el iPhone 15 Pro y iPhone 15 Pro Max que ha generado gran controversia en las redes sociales.
Luego de recibir una avalancha de comentarios negativos en redes sociales, la compañía fundada por Steve Jobs tuvo que salir a aclarar la situación y aseguró que el decolorado es temporal y no permanente. Los de Cupertino aseguran que el titanio se pinta de una manera totalmente diferente, lo que genera que se ensucie con mucha facilidad con el aceite que tenemos en los dedos.
«Para los usuarios del iPhone 15 Pro y iPhone 15 Pro Max, la grasa de la piel puede alterar temporalmente el color de la banda exterior. Recomendamos limpiar su iPhone con un paño suave, ligeramente húmedo y sin pelusa para restaurar su apariencia original», señaló la compañía de la manzana mordida en su página oficial de soporte.
¿Cómo eliminar la decoloración del iPhone 15?
«Con una toallita con alcohol isopropílico al 70% puede limpiar suavemente las superficies exteriores de su iPhone. No use productos que contengan lejía o peróxido de hidrógeno. Evite que entre humedad en las aberturas y no sumerja su iPhone en ningún agente de limpieza. Tampoco emplee aire comprimido», indican los de Cupertino en su web oficial.
De acuerdo a los de Cupertino, el iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro y iPhone 15 Pro Max tienen un revestimiento oleofíbico que repele el aceite o grasa de nuestras manos, es decir, lo hace resistente a las manchas de huellas dactilares. Si usamos productos abrasivos para limpiarlo (alcohol, lejía, etc.) vamos a terminar por acabar con esta protección.
