Pitón de gran tamaño entra a vivienda y ataca a un hombre: ‘Trató de enrollarse a mi alrededor’
La víctima fue mordida por la serpiente y resultó con heridas en uno de los brazos. Las autoridades buscan al dueño de la pitón. Ocurrió en Inglaterra.
Una pitón de aproximadamente tres metros atacó e hirió a un adulto mayor, identificado como Rob Byrne. El hombre se encontraba en su invernadero cuando fue sorprendido por el reptil.
El ciudadano, residente en Bishopstoke, Inglaterra, le contó al medio The Mirror que la serpiente ingresó por una de las ventanas del lugar.
Asimismo, indicó que logró liberarse de la pitón tras empujarla. Sin embargo, esta casi logra inmovilizarlo en una esquina, fue entonces que entraron su esposa y su nieta, de tan solo dos años. Al parecer, el animal se asustó por el ruido y escapó.
El hombre tuvo que ser atendido por paramédicos debido a la gravedad de las heridas. Entretanto, este se mostró molesto por lo ocurrido, por lo que escribió al gobierno pidiendo mayores medidas sobre la tenencia de los reptiles.
Tras lo ocurrido, la serpiente fue atrapada y y llevada al Centro Nacional para el Bienestar de los Reptiles ubicado en el condado de Kent. Se desconoce quién es el dueño del animal.
Entre tanto, en Australia se conoció que un hombre salió a surfear con su serpiente pitón enrollada en su cuello y resultó multado.
El Departamento de Medio Ambiente y Ciencia del estado de Queensland (noreste) indicó en un comunicado que el hombre, identificado en los medios locales como Higor Fiuza, ha sido multado por violar las condiciones de su permiso para poseer una serpiente.
En el video que compartió a principios de este mes en las redes sociales, Fiuza aparece con una tabla de surf mientras que la serpiente, una «Morelia bredli» de tres años llamada Shiva, cuelga enrollada de su cuello en una playa de Gold Coast, en Queensland.
Sin embargo, el permiso estipula que este tipo de mascotas no pueden sacarse de su lugar habitual a no ser que sea para llevarlas al veterinario, a un comprador o alguna exhibición autorizada.
