OIJ detuvo en Liberia a médico sospechoso del femicidio de su esposa
El sospechoso habría hecho que su esposa se tomara unos medicamentos para ocasionar su muerte.
Agentes del Organismo de investigación Judicial (OIJ) el pasado miércoles 13 de setiembre al ser las 3;00pm, dieron con la captura de un hombre identificado con los apellidos apellidos Carmona Jaén, de 46 años, por ser el principal sospechoso del femicidio de su pareja, de nombre Raquel Arroyo Aguilar, de 41 años.
Carmona quien se desempeña como médico fue detenido tras un allanamiento en su vivienda en el barrio Corazón de Jesús en Liberia, Guanacaste.
En aquella ocasión el médico se comunicó con el OIJ de Liberia indicándoles que su pareja sentimental quien era farmacéutica, había fallecido dentro de la vivienda en la que vivían, por lo que los agentes judiciales se desplazaron hasta el sitio y realizaron el respectivo levantamiento del cuerpo.
“Aparentemente, ese día el sospechoso en apariencia habría indicado que le había suministrado unos fármacos a la femenina ahora fallecida, ya que al parecer tenía problemas intestinales, siendo que por medio de la investigación y de diferentes elementos técnicos y científicos, se llegó a la conclusión por parte de los agentes judiciales y del Ministerio Público, en apariencia estaban ante una muerte homicida y que el principal sospechoso sería este hombre”, detalló el OIJ.
En cuanto a Carmona, las autoridades confirmaron que actualmente el labora en el hospital Enrique Baltodano en Liberia.
Tras el allanamiento las autoridades indicaron que al sospechoso le decomisaron evidencia de interés para la investigación.
Carmona quedó a las órdenes del Ministerio Público, para que se le determine su situación jurídica.
