“Injusta”, así describe la Liga la sanción que les interpusieron del veto sobre su estadio
Alajuelense deberá jugar a puerta cerrada contra Cartaginés este miércoles.
Por más que lucharon la Liga Deportiva Alajuelense deberá jugar este miércoles 13 de setiembre, a puerta cerrada el partido que disputarán ante el Club Sport Cartaginés.
Esto se debe a que el Tribunal Disciplinario de la Federación Costarricense de Fútbol (Fedefútbol) mantuvo el veto sobre el estadio Alejandro Morera Soto, por los actos racistas que se dieron contra el jugador morado Javon East en el clásico nacional.
Asimismo, en dicho documento el equipo manudo resalta su condena contra el racismo o cualquier tipo de discriminación.
“Lamentamos que el accionar de las autoridades no fuera el mejor y que eso nos limitara a actuar durante el encuentro de alguna forma distinta, al ser ellos los encargados de la conducción del encuentro”, agregaron.
Por otra parte, el “Equipo de su gente” en el comunicado asegura que durante la última semana realizaron algunas acciones entorno a lo sucedido, tales como:
- Reunión en casa presidencial con las principales autoridades encargadas de velar estos temas.
- Solicitud de reunión urgente a la UNAFUT con todos los clubes para revisar protocolos.
- Conversaciones y reunión con la Defensoría de los Habitantes.
- Preparación de un proyecto de ley contra la discriminación.
- Capacitación a todo nuestro personal para actuar contra el racismo y la discriminación.
