Mientras intentaba detener una pelea, un guarda de seguridad recibió un disparo en el cuello
Los hechos se presentaron en el último cuarto de un partido de fútbol americano que se disputaba entre estudiantes de escuelas secundarias de Estados Unidos. El guarda de seguridad se debate entre la vida y la muerte.
Un caso de intolerancia tiene en peligro la vida de un guarda de seguridad en Nueva York, Estados Unidos, luego de que este intentara detener una pelea entre algunos estudiantes de diferentes escuelas secundarias, que se estaban enfrentando en un partido de fútbol americano.
De acuerdo con las autoridades, los hechos se presentaron en el último cuarto del juego, el sábado 9 de septiembre de 2023, alrededor de las 4:00 de la tarde. Según el informe, los disparos comenzaron en el estacionamiento ubicado a las afueras de la escuela secundaria Thomas R. Proctor, en la ciudad de Utica, donde se disputaba el partido.
Poco después, se ve al uniformado desplomándose en el suelo al ser impactado en el cuello por una de las balas. Inmediatamente, el hombre fue trasladado a un centro asistencial, donde permanece en estado crítico.
Aunque por ahora se desconocen los motivos que pudieron iniciar la pelea, una de las primeras hipótesis que manejan los oficiales de la Policía es que sería un tema relacionado con las pandillas.
Esta no sería la primera vez que se presentan este tipo de situaciones en medio de un partido de fútbol entre estudiantes. La semana pasada, un joven murió y una mujer resultó herida en medio de un enfrentamiento armado en el entretiempo de un juego en la escuela secundaria de Luisiana.
Asimismo, otro adolescente de 16 años perdió la vida al ser alcanzado por una bala mientras estaba en las graderías viendo un partido de fútbol en Oklahoma.
