Asesinan a mujer y hieren a su hija embarazada en cobarde ataque a un vehículo médico
La organización Médicos sin Fronteras denunció el repudiable hecho, que ocurrió cuando llevaban a la paciente embarazada a un hospital por complicaciones en el parto.
Una mujer murió y su hija embarazada resultó herida en un ataque a tiros contra un vehículo sanitario que la trasladaba al hospital de la localidad maliense de Douentza, en el este del país, informó la organización Médicos sin Fronteras (MSF).
Según indicó MSF en su cuenta de X (antes Twitter), el ataque ocurrió el pasado martes sobre las cuatro de la tarde hora local, cuando el vehículo se dirigía desde Hombori a Douentza y fue objeto de disparos a dos kilómetros del pueblo de Dallah y 35 de Douentza.
Se trataba, apuntaron a EFE fuentes de la organización, de un vehículo alquilado por las autoridades sanitarias locales.
MSF trasladó en sus mensajes de la red social sus condolencias a la familia de la mujer y a su comunidad, al tiempo que lamentó «la violencia sobre la población civil atrapada en el conflicto que asola el centro de Malí y pide su protección y el respeto de su integridad».
Mali, con presencia de grupos yihadistas leales al Estado Islámico y a Al Qaeda, está gobernado por una junta militar en el poder tras dos golpes de Estado y padece una gran inseguridad, con ataques terroristas constantes contra militares y civiles.
