El defensor del Deportivo Saprissa asegura que en el conjunto morado priorizan más la identidad y el equipo sobre los fichajes bomba.
En un mercado de fichajes cada vez más dominado por las adquisiciones rimbombantes de jugadores de renombre, el Deportivo Saprissa opta por una ruta menos convencional al mantenerse distante de la tendencia actual de “fichajes bomba”.
Mientras equipos rivales como Alajuelense y Herediano buscan reforzar sus filas con nombres reconocidos como Joel Campbell, Celso Borges y Elías Aguilar, la “S” enfoca sus esfuerzos en la construcción del conjunto y en la preservación de su identidad, logrando así acumular un impresionante total de 38 títulos nacionales.
Esta declaración pone de manifiesto la firme creencia de Saprissa en el valor del equipo como un todo, en lugar de depender exclusivamente de figuras individuales.
“Todos tienen que valorar dónde están y tienen que rendir. Gracias a Dios, tenemos una planilla amplia y no es tan necesario esos fichajes bomba, porque eso se apaga en una semana, las noticias están por todo lado y luego ya es la realidad en la que vivimos”, concluyó Waston en declaraciones publicadas por La República.
