Bray Wyatt, destacado luchador de la WWE y excampeón mundial, falleció a los 36 años
A través de sus redes sociales, Triple H confirmó la repentina muerte de Windham Rotunda, verdadero nombre de quien fuera una de las mayores figuras de la lucha libre moderna.
La lucha libre está de luto. Este jueves 24 de agosto, el vicepresidente de la WWE, Triple H, informó acerca de la muerte de Bray Wyatt, destacado luchador de la compañía, quien falleció a sus 36 años por causas aún no reveladas.
Acabo de recibir una llamada del miembro del Salón de la Fama de la WWE Mike Rotunda, quien nos informó de la trágica noticia de que nuestro miembro vitalicio de la familia WWE Windham Rotunda, también conocido como Bray Wyatt, falleció inesperadamente hoy. Nuestros pensamientos están con su familia y pedimos que todos respeten su privacidad en este momento», anunció el exluchador.
Proveniente de una familia bien asentada en la industria, Rotunda continuaba la tradición de su padre, Mike, así como de su abuelo, Robert Deroy Windham (Blacjack Mulligan). Además, sus tíos Barry Windham y Kendall Windham también incursionaron en este deporte, incluso su hermano menor, Taylor Rotunda.
Esta trágica noticia se dio a conocer apenas un día después del fallecimiento de Terry Funk, ícono de la lucha libre entre la década de los 80 y 90. The Funker murió a los 79 años tras una larga lucha contra enfermedades neurodegenerativas.
