Prueba de ADN reveló que mujer que estaba siendo buscada fue encontrada muerta en una playa
Los restos de Dunia Jiménez Yasling fueron encontrados quemados en una playa de Guanacaste.
La noticia que no querían escuchar fue confirmada para la familia de Dunia Jiménez Yasling, de 49 años, quien fue reportada como desaparecida ante las autoridades el pasado 30 de abril del presente año.
De acuerdo con el Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ), los restos de Jiménez fueron encontrados quemados en una playa de Guanacaste, esta noticia se la confirmaron a una hija de la ahora fallecida, Marlen Mclelland Jiménez.
Según contó Marlen el pasado martes 11 de julio fue que le dieron la lamentable información.
“Ellos me llamaron y yo estaba trabajando, cuando recibí esa llamada se me paró el corazón. Me dijeron que si les podía dar un momento y fue ahí cuando un muchacho me dijo que la prueba de ADN les acababa de llegar y que les dio resultado positivo, que los restos que habían encontrado sí eran de mi mamá”, contó Marlen al medio.
Y si bien Mclelland asegura que desde hace un tiempo se había preparado para esa noticia, le fue imposible no llorar debido a que en su corazón mantenía la esperanza de que su madre fuera encontrada con vida.
“Para mí ha sido muy difícil, al menos ese día encontré esa paz, en el sentido de que uno sabe que ella ya está descansando y que ya está con la familia”, añadió la hija de la ahora occisa.
Al momento que surgió la alerta de desaparición un vecino había indicado que la mujer fue vista mientras observaba el atardecer, y desde ese día no se volvió a saber nada de ella.
Con respecto a los restos de Dunia, fueron ubicados el 11 de mayo pasado en una playa en Brasilito.
De momento las autoridades se mantienen investigando este atroz homicidio, caso que según cuenta Marlen no ha tenido muchos avances.
“El punto es ese, desde que me dijeron (resultado de la prueba de ADN) yo he estado llamando para preguntar cómo iban con eso, pero a la fecha no he vuelto a saber nada”.
“Lo que me da miedo es que un día me llamen y me digan que se va a cerrar el caso porque no hay pistas”, aseguró la mujer.
Asimismo, hija de la fallecida expresó al medio que de momento desconoce si las autoridades tienen a algún sospechoso identificado o un versión preliminar de lo que pudo haberle sucedido a su madre.
Por su parte, Marlen contó que ella le hizo a su madre una ceremonia de despedida rodeada de personas que la querían mucho.
“Yo hice la ceremonia en la sala de velación de San Rafael de Alajuela, porque había mucha gente que quería despedirse de mi mamá, porque ella se ganó el cariño de muchísimas personas, ese lugar estuvo lleno, a como se iba la gente llegaba otra”, comentó la hija de Dunia a LT.
