Enfermera salió a caminar, desapareció y la hallaron muerta: habría sufrido golpe de calor

En Estados Unidos, una enfermera fue hallada muerta luego de que el calor abrasador causara estragos en su salud, mientras caminaba en una ciudad que se ha vuelto “inhabitable sin aire acondicionado”. La mujer, identificada como Jessica Christine Lindstrom, salió de excursión la mañana del viernes y la Policía la declaró desaparecida alrededor de nueve horas después.
Drones y equipos de rescate recorrieron gran parte de la ciudad de Phoenix, en el estado de Arizona. El operativo tardó 5 horas hasta que los equipos encontraran el cuerpo de la mujer de 34 años tendido en un sendero.
«Desafortunadamente, la sra. Lindstrom estaba en la ciudad de Oregón, donde no hace tanto calor», aseguró Douglas. La víctima vivía anteriormente en el suburbio de Peoria, en Phoenix, y estaba visitando a sus familiares.
