Mario Vargas Serrano será candidato a alcalde de San José por el PLN
“Vengo a poner mi amplia experiencia de servicio a nuestra capital”, manifestó Vargas.
La Asamblea Cantonal del Partido Liberación Nacional (PLN) en San José, escogió este domingo a Mario Vargas Serrano como su candidato a la alcaldía para las elecciones municipales de febrero de 2024.
Vargas Serrano, de 55 años, es abogado y laboró para la Municipalidad de San José por más de 35 años en los que fungió en diversos puestos en el área legal, además de ser el Gerente de Gestión Municipal.
El candidato a la Alcaldía por el Partido Liberación Nacional señaló: “Para mí es un orgullo, después de más de 35 años como funcionario municipal, alcalde durante 2 años y 8 meses, poder aspirar a la alcaldía en las próximas elecciones. Vengo a poner mi amplia experiencia de servicio a nuestra capital”.
La elección se llevó a cabo en el Balcón Verde en La Sabana y contó con una única papeleta de consenso, fruto del trabajo que se llevó a cabo con los dirigentes liberacionista de la Capital. Se hicieron presentes 61 delegados, donde cada candidatura quedó por unanimidad.
Asimismo, el primer lugar de la lista de regidores lo ocupa Alexander Cano, el segundo Iztarú Alfaro la cual representa juventud, el tercer puesto Luis Murillo y el cuarto puesto Kattya Solano.
