Jordi Alba elogia el nivel de Messi en Inter Miami: ‘Lo que hace es una barbaridad, no sorprende’

Lo tiene como el mejor. Jordi Alba, quien debutó este miércoles con el Inter Miami en la Leagues Cup ganado 3-1 al Orlando City, aseguró que «es una barbaridad lo que hace» Lionel Messi y expresó su alegría por volver a compartir con él el vestuario tras ganarlo todo en Barcelona.
«Ya no sorprende lo de Lionel Messi. Es una barbaridad lo que hace. Después de dos años sin jugar juntos, por fin hemos vuelto a jugar y ahora a disfrutar otros años juntos», dijo Jordi Alba en declaraciones a Apple TV, que transmite los partidos de la Leagues Cup.
Además, el internacional con la Selección de España comentó que estaba con ganas de ser parte de la franquicia en la Major League Soccer (MLS) y Leagues Cup.
«Muy contento, tenía muchas ganas de venir y de jugar aquí. El recibimiento que me ha dado la afición ha sido increíble», afirmó al ser consultado respecto a su debut con la camiseta rosa.
Por su parte y luego de un penal para el Inter Miami en su triunfo en la Leagues Cup, el delantero venezolano Josef Martínez confirmó que el lanzamiento estaba reservado para ‘Leo’, pero el astro argentino le pidió que lo cobrara.
Cuando el marcador señalaba un empate 1-1, el árbitro señaló un dudoso penal provocado por Martínez quien, con todo el estadio aguardando a que lo lanzara el exBarcelona, tomó la pelota y anotó el 2-1 parcial en el minuto 51.
«En realidad iba a cobrar él, aunque cuando fue la jugada del penal, él mismo me dijo que lo cobrara yo. Por eso fue que lo cobré yo», explicó el atacante.
Veinte minutos después, Martínez le devolvió el gesto a Lionel Messi brindándole una gran asistencia para que el argentino colocara el 3-1 definitivo, el quinto gol que anota en apenas tres partidos con el uniforme del Inter Miami.
