Agosto traerá un “veranillo” desde este jueves confirman los expertos
A partir de este jueves una masa de aire seco que estará sobre el país va a favorecer que haya menos aguaceros.
De acuerdo con los expertos del Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN), a partir de este jueves 3 de agosto las condiciones del tiempo van a mejorar en cuestión a los aguaceros que se han experimentado en los últimos días, debido a que nos llega un “veranillo”.
Según explicó Daniel Poleo del IMN, a este tiempo se le conoce como canícula o veranillo, y el mismo se presenta los primeros 15 días de agosto.
Asimismo, el experto señaló que es la continuación del veranillo que comenzó alrededor del 8 de julio y que nos dejó días muy cálidos.
Además, Poleo, expresó que durante estos días sobre Costa Rica habrá una masa de aire seco lo que va a favorecer a que haya menos aguaceros, y que las condiciones sean más ventosas.
“Los vientos alisios serán más fuertes y entonces la zona de interconvergencia tropical que es la que genera la nubosidad va a desplazarse un poco al sur y eso va a generar que Pacífico Central y Sur pueda estar teniendo precipitaciones, pero la mayor parte en el país, va a tener menos lluvias. El Caribe eso sí puede estar más nublado con algunas lloviznas”, explicó el expertos del IMN.
Por otra parte, el Centro de Investigación de Ciencias del Mar de la UCR, informó que durante estos días habrá mareas altas en el Pacífico del país.
Para la zona de Puntarenas indican que la marea podría superar hasta los tres metros de altura.
Cabe destacar que se trata de mareas altas, que no es lo mismo que oleaje alto.
Esto anterior se debe a la luna llena del 1 de agosto y, además, porqué estamos al período de mayor acercamiento de la tierra al sol.
