Perro antiexplosivos muere tras detectar bomba y evitar una tragedia: salvó la vida de 6 personas
De acuerdo con las autoridades en Colombia, el explosivo fue activado de manera remota por los criminales segundos después de que el can les advirtiera a quienes se encontraban cerca.
Happy 4, un perro que pertenecía al comando antiexplosivo del Ejército de Colombia, murió como un héroe tras salvar a más de seis personas de una tragedia segura al detectar una bomba en el casco urbano del municipio de Puerto Rico, Meta. Según las Fuerzas militares, el can evitó que la acción terrorista causara más daños, ya que los presentes, entre ellos una menor, solo resultaron heridos.
De acuerdo con medios locales, las autoridades fueron alertadas el martes 1 de agosto por un grupo de vecinos, quienes notaron la presencia de un paquete sospechoso en el polideportivo del barrio El Jardín, donde suelen jugar varios niños. Al llegar a la zona, Happy tuvo la tarea de examinar el objeto, que fue activado de manera remota segundos más tarde por los criminales, ocasionándole la muerte.

“Rechazamos este vil atentando y seguiremos disponiendo de las capacidades de las Fuerzas Militares para neutralizar intenciones criminales de grupos ilegales y garantizar la tranquilidad y la integridad de los habitantes del Meta y de todo el territorio nacional”, enfatizaron desde el Ejército Nacional.
Por su parte, los seis heridos que se salvaron de morir por la detonación, entre ellos una menor de edad y un hombre de la tercera edad, se encuentran hospitalizados y reciben la atención requerida.
