El Salvador apoya iniciativa contra trata de niños reflejada en “Sound of Freedom”

El presidente de El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, se reunió con el actor mexicano Eduardo Verástegui, para dar su apoyo a una iniciativa que impulsa el artista contra la trata de niños, reflejada en la película “Sound of Freedom”.
Al final de su encuentro en la Casa Presidencial en San Salvador, Bukele y Verástegui firmaron una “carta de intención” en la cual el gobierno salvadoreño se compromete a impulsar iniciativas para evitar la trata y explotación sexual de niños.
“Trabajaremos como gobierno para combatir el tráfico infantil y llevar este mensaje tan importante a todos”, señaló el mandatario tras indicar que la película “Sound of Freedom” (Sonido de Libertad) se iba a proyectar el mismo viernes como una “premiere” en San Salvador.
A los cines salvadoreños la cinta llegará para exhibición comercial a finales de agosto.
Para el actor, que además de ser parte del elenco es productor de la cinta, lo que se busca el filme es “generar un movimiento” y que “podría tener ese potencial de detonar un movimiento global con soluciones globales para un problema global”.
“Sound of Freedom” fue estrenada en cines de Estados Unidos el pasado 4 de julio y desde entonces “ha sido un éxito”, aseguró Verástegui.
