OIJ desarticula banda dedicada a extorsionar, torturar y amenazar personas por préstamos
Agentes del OIJ realizan varias intervenciones en Heredia.
Desde tempranas horas de este viernes agentes del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) de Heredia se encuentran realizando varios allanamientos con el objetivo de detener a los miembros de una agrupación quienes estarían ligados con extorsiones, privaciones de libertad, amenazas de muerte y torturas.
Según trascendió dicho grupo de sujetos se dedica al préstamo de dinero por vías informales y en caso de que sus deudores no pagaran o presentarán problemas para cancelar ejecutaban acciones violentas en su contra para así “recuperar” el dinero.
De momento se indicó que los agentes judiciales lograron detener a uno de los sujetos sospechosos en vía pública, esto en el sector de San Rafael de Heredia, cantón donde también se allanó una vivienda en la calle “La Canoa”.
En cuanto a las investigaciones contra la agrupación, surgieron luego de que algunas de las víctimas denunciaron que fueron amenazados de muerte y en algunos de los casos incluso fueron torturados de manera violenta.
Las autoridades se mantienen realizando las diligencias respectivas en los lugares allanados, se espera que en las próximas horas se brinde más información sobre este caso.
