La entrenadora asegura que la Sele está en “uno de los grupos más difíciles” del certamen mundialista.
Esta noche la Selección Femenina jugará su segundo juego de la fase de grupos ante su similar de Japón, partido que disputarán la posibilidad de seguir con vida en la justa mundialista, tras perder el primer encuentro ante España 3-0.
A pesar de los cuestionamientos que ha recibido la Tricolor tras el rendimiento demostrado en el primer juego, la entrenadora Amelia Valverde, salió en la defensa y asegura que están buscando realizar el “mejor Mundial posible”, pese a que se están en uno de los “grupos más difíciles” del certamen.
“Vivo el día a día. Toda la energía ha estado dispuesta a hacer el mejor Mundial posible en uno de los grupos más difíciles, todos los partidos son complicados, pero hemos intentado crecer como equipo, adaptarnos a las exigencias de este torneo de estas categorías”, expresó en conferencia de prensa.
Asimismo, la entrenadora nacional aseguró que para el encuentro de está noche tendrá a todo el equipo disponible lo que es decir que podrá contar con la participación de Raquel Rodríguez, quien no dispútelo el primer encuentro por temas de lesión.
“Hemos tenido buen tiempo para recuperar y para poder tener a todas a disposición. Hemos trabajado los dos sistemas (defensa de cuatro o cinco), ya está decidido, y veremos qué vamos a hacer”, agregó.
En cuanto al encuentro de esta noche que se jugará en el Dunedin Stadium, en Nueva Zelanda, será a las 11:00pm, hora de Costa Rica.
