Seleccionada nacional escribió su nombre en la historia de los Mundiales de FIFA
La futbolista de 16 años hizo su debutó esta madrugada al ingresar de cambio al minuto 72.

Se trata de talamanqueña Sheika Scott, quien hizo historia al debutar con solo 16 años, esto tras ingresar de de cambio al minuto 72 en sustitución de María Paula Salas.
Scott, tiene 16 años y 272 días (nació el 22 de octubre de 2006), y entra en la selecta lista de jugadoras que jugaron una Copa del Mundo con siendo tan jóvenes.
El récord de la jugadora más joven lo tiene la ecuatoriana Kerlly Real, que debutó con 16 años y 221 días, en el Mundial de Canadá 2015.
Para este Mundial, la tica es la tercera jugadora más joven, solo por detrás de la surcoreana Casey Yu-Jin Phair (29-06-2007) y la italiana Giulia Dragoni (7-11-2006).
En cuanto a la Tricolor tiene el segundo partido en esta cita mundialista este 26 de julio en el Dunedin Stadium contra Japón y mientras que el tercero se llevará a cabo el próximo 31 de julio en el Waikato Stadium, cuando se midan ante Zambia.
