¡Atención romeros! Servicio del tren será constante el 1 y 2 de agosto
El Incofer espera transportar cerca de 20 mil romeros durante las celebraciones en honor a la Virgen de los Ángeles.
El Instituto Costarricense de Ferrocarriles (Incofer) anunció que habilitará un servicio de trenes continuo entre Cartago y San José el 1 de agosto y 2 de agosto en el marco de las celebraciones en honor a la Virgen de los Ángeles.
Los viajes iniciarán a las 8:00 p.m. del martes 1° de agosto en Cartago, el día donde hay mayor movimiento de fieles por la tradicional romería hacia la Basílica de los Ángeles, hasta el mediodía del miércoles 2 de agosto.
Los trenes partirán cada 35 minutos desde la Estación de Cartago y la Estación Atlántico en San José.
Para este servicio especial, Incofer pondrá a disposición tres trenes con capacidad para 720 personas cada uno, así como un tren con capacidad para 360 personas.
El viaje incluye paradas en la Estación Cartago, Tres Ríos, UACA, CFIA Curridabat, Ulatina San Pedro, UCR San Pedro y la Estación Atlántico en San José, tanto en el viaje de ida como en el de regreso.
El Incofer estima que, durante esos días de peregrinación, trasladarán a cerca de 20.320 personas.
