“Ha sido una Copa Oro turbulenta, nunca he sentido tanta negatividad”, Francisco Calvo
El defensa salió ante las fuertes críticas que ha recibido la Selección en los últimos días.
Uno de los futbolistas que no se ha quedado callado y ha expresado su posición con respecto a la situación que vive la Selección Nacional, es el defensa Francisco Calvo, quien desde su percepción a explicado qué es lo que pasa con la Tricolor y su bajo rendimiento en los últimos encuentros.
Si bien la Sele, la noche de este martes logró clasificar a los cuartos de final de la Copa Oro 2023, esto no ha evitado que los aficionados sigan expresando sus criticas contra el cuerpo técnico y algunos futbolistas.
Ante toda esta situación Calvo, quien es uno de los grandes líderes del grupo expresó que nunca había sentido tanta negatividad en contra de la Sele.
“Ha sido una Copa Oro turbulenta, nunca he sentido tanta negatividad, ha sido exagerado. Nosotros representamos al país y lo único que podemos hacer es darles una alegría”, dijo Francisco.
Asimismo, el defensa recalcó que el triunfo ante Martinica tampoco es para relajarse y pensar que todo está bien, sin embrago, ahora deben de enfocarse en el partido ante México.
“Se duerme bien, pero solo toca descansar y plantear lo mejor para enfrentar a México el próximo sábado”, agregó.
En cuanto al partido de cuartos de final entre Costa Rica y México, está pactado para jugarse el próximo sábado 8 de julio, a las 8:00pm, en el AT&T Stadium, ubicado en Arlington, Texas, Estados Unidos.

Con respecto a la continuidad del técnico Suárez, el presidente de la Fedefútbol, en conferencia expresó que una vez terminada la Copa Oro, se hablará acerca del futuro del colombiano en la Selección.
