Vacacionando en la playa, así fueron sorprendidos varios de los supuestos secuestradores
Los sospechosos de formar parte del supuesto grupo de secuestradores, se le vinculan con los secuestros de George Ángulo y otro empresario de apellidos Guardián Moreno.
Desde tempranos horas de este miércoles 5 de julio, agentes del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) se encuentran realizando una serie de allanamientos que tiene como objetivo desarticular una banda delictiva que se dedicaba al secuestro de personas, exigiendo pagos en bitcoins a cambio de su liberación.
Si bien fuentes policiales confirmaron que la mayoría de las personas que conforman esta banda, incluyendo a los líderes, son vecinos de Cartago, gran parte del grupo fueron sorprendido mientras estaban vacacionando en la playa.
Al parecer ayer se desplazaron hacia el Pacífico para disfrutar de las vacaciones de medio año con familiares, y fue justamente en Jacó al ser las 5:00am, que los agentes ingresaron a una propiedad.
Según trascendió el objetivo de las autoridades es detener a seis hombres y a tres mujeres, a quienes se le vinculan con los secuestros de George Ángulo y otro empresario de apellidos Guardián Moreno.
Asimismo, se indicó que las autoridades intervinieron las casas de los los presuntos captores para la búsqueda de pruebas, y en algunas de las propiedades lograron ubicar a varios de los sospechosos.
En total las autoridades realizaron son 10 allanamientos en sectores de Cartago, como e en el Proyecto Manuel de Jesús Jiménez, El Tejar, La Pitahaya y Lankaster, además, de Heredia, Curridabat, Grecia y Jacó.
OIJ detiene a banda criminal que realizaba secuestros a empresarios y pedía Bitcoin
En dichas operaciones participan 200 agentes de diferentes secciones del OIJ y 70 vehículos, incluyendo la “bestia” del SERT.
Los allanamientos también están siendo apoyados por funcionarios de la Oficina de Planes y Operaciones (OPO) y el Departamento de Investigaciones Criminales.
