Rodolfo Villalobos asegura que no fue solo él quien tomó la decisión de renovar a Suárez
El presidente de la Fedefútbol dice tener una fotografía donde se ve quienes dijeron “sí” a favor de la continuidad de un proceso.
Si bien en los últimos días la Selección Nacional y el cuerpo técnico han sido bastante cuestionados por el rendimiento deportivo, el presidente de la Federación Costarricense de Fútbol (Fedefútbol) Rodolfo Villalobos, también a sido señalado como uno de los principales responsables de la situación que vive la Tricolor.
A raíz de dichos cuestionamientos, Villalobos, rompió el silencio y habló acerca de la continuidad de Luis Fernando Suárez en el banquillo, expresando que su futuro se decidiera hasta después de la Copa Oro.
Asimismo, Villalobos fue claro al decir que no fue solo él quien tomó la decisión de renovar al técnico antes del Mundial, ya que dice que su “su contratación fue unánime”.
“Su contratación fue unánime y todos estaban a favor de su continuidad, respecto a la letra y la parte legal yo nunca he redactado un contrato.
Habrá miembros que dirán que no sabían, pero el monto se negoció más bajo y la rescisión está clara, eso se estableció y aprobó, fue un contrato que se discutió y veremos quien se quiere quitar”, comentó Villalobos.
Dicha declaraciones de Rodolfo, se dieron este martes a solo horas de que La Sele se juegue la vida ante Martinica.
Además, el presidente de la Fedefútbol aseguró que tiene una fotografía donde se ve quienes dijeron “sí” a favor de la continuidad de un proceso e indicó que si es necesario como lo hizo meses atrás, presentará un video donde se observan estas personas.
“Tengo una foto de los miembros que votaron y fue unánime con ustedes mismos porque todo mundo lo veía bien.
El contrato es el mismo al de Matosas, Óscar Ramírez y de ahí para atrás. Si alguien se quiere ir o queremos quitar se tiene que pagar”,agregó.
En cuanto al futuro de Suárez, serían cuestión de días para que se defina si continua o finalmente se le despide.
