Kevin Chamorro: “Uno se cansa de estar perdiendo”
El guardameta contó que tras la derrota ante Ecuador se dijeron unas cuantas verdades en el camerino de la Tricolor.
Kevin Chamorro, el portero de la Selección Nacional, reveló que el equipo patrio experimenta una creciente frustración debido a sus recurrentes derrotas. Por esta razón, el pasado martes, después de concluir el partido contra Ecuador con un marcador desfavorable de 3-1, la Tricolor se reunió en una conversación franca y sin reservas.
“A lo interno nos dijimos que ya estábamos cansados de perder. Nos dijimos las verdades en la cara. Fui uno de los que no pude dormir (el pasado martes). Sabía en lo que había fallado, en lo que no había fallado. Yo siempre tengo claro mis cosas y trabajo para mejorarlas”, declaró Chamorro a Columbia Deportiva.
Chamorro reconoció que se culpa a sí mismo por el tercer gol ante Ecuador, ya que considera que pudo haber hecho más en esa jugada.
“Fue gol mío. No me gusta poner excusas, pero tenía a Kendall y a otro jugador de frente y cuando me di cuenta vi un punto blanco de repente. No me dejan ver y cuando trato de reaccionar no me dio tiempo. Cuando me vieron ahuevado les dije que no me gusta perder. Como le dije a Ricardo (González, entrenador de porteros), tengo que practicar eso. Hay revanchas como la del lunes y hay que aprovecharla”, finalizó.
