¡Increíble! Circunvalación Norte tiene pocos días de abierta y ya se han robado 20 señales de tránsito
El nuevo tramo de cuatro kilómetros de la Circunvalación Norte se inauguró el pasado lunes 12 de junio.
Por más increíble que parezca, las personas dueñas de lo ajeno no respetan nada y esto quedó reflejado una vez con una situación que se esta dando en la recién inaugurada Circunvalación Norte.
Si bien el nuevo tramo de cuatro kilómetros de la Circunvalación Norte se inauguró el pasado lunes 12 de junio, el hampa ya anda haciendo de las suyas en la zona, ya que en cuestión de una semana se habían robado 20 señales de tránsito.
De acuerdo con el Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Transportes (Mopt), los robos de señales y dispositivos de seguridad han sido muy constantes desde que se inició la construcción de la ruta, ya que no es la primera vez que deben reponer un lote grande de señales porque los dueños de lo ajeno se las roban.
“Los delincuentes cortan o arrancan desde los cimientos el poste que sostiene las señales y roban así toda la estructura… Se esperaba que, con la apertura del tránsito, los daños cesaran, al quedar expuestas las vías con el tránsito regular de vehículos a toda hora; sin embargo, no ha sido así” explicó el MOPT.
Y es si bien se sabe dichas señales son de gran importancia, aún más cuando están ubicadas en una ruta nueva, ya que los conductores desconocen las vías y las necesitan para orientarse y así prevenir accidentes en la carretera.
“Por esta razón, las autoridades hacen un llamado para que los usuarios de la carretera que vean alguna situación de robo en la ruta, la denuncien al 9-1-1 y se puedan evitar más actos de este tipo que ponen en peligro la seguridad de quienes transitan esta ruta”, detalló el MOPT.
