Estas son las causas detrás de los intensos vientos que afectaron al país este jueves
En Limón se registraron vientos que variaron en un rango de velocidad de 30 a 60 km/h.
Durante la tarde de este jueves más de uno se llevó un susto al escuchar las fuertes ráfagas de viento que azotaron gran parte del país, pero, ¿cuál fue la explicación de este fenómeno?
De acuerdo con el Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN) las fuertes lluvias, tormentas y vientos se produjeron debido a la cercanía de la Zona de Convergencia Intertropical en conjunto con las condiciones de la mañana, lo que causó un patrón atmosférico húmedo e inestable.
Valverde detalló que en la provincia de Limón se registraron vientos que variaron en un rango de velocidad de 30 a 60 km/h, por lo que la entidad no descarta la posibilidad de que en algunos puntos del país se registraron vientos con velocidades mayores.
“Hacia el final de la tarde se esperaba que dichas lluvias se fueran disipando y sean ahora en las regiones del Pacífico de forma puntual y dispersos que presenten la presencia de aguaceros con tormentas hacia el oeste del Valle Central, además en puntos específicos del Pacífico Norte, Pacífico Central de forma puntual al sur del Pacífico Sur”, finalizó Valverde.
