Autoridades detienen a dos hombres que acababan de cometer un asalto a casino en Puerto Viejo
Los sospechosos lograros sustraer dinero en efectivo y pertenencias de las víctimas que estaban en el lugar.
Según dio a conocer el Ministerio de Seguridad Pública , oficiales de la Fuerza Pública de Talamanca, lograron dar con la detención de dos hombres sospechosos de cometer un robo en un hotel casino ubicado en el sector de Puerto Viejo.
De acuerdo con el reporte de las autoridades, los hechos ocurrieron la madrugada de este martes y los sujetos fueron sorprendidos minutos después que cometieron el robo, esto cuando los aparentes ladrones huían a bordo de un Suzuki Grand Vitara.
Según trascendió estos hombres quienes fueron identificados con los apellidos Barrantes, de 34 años de edad, y Ávalos, de 27 años, ingresaron al local y bajo amenazas e intimidación lograron la sustracción de dinero en efectivo y artículos electrónicos que pertenecías a las personas que estaban en el sitio.
La detención de estos hombre se dio gracias a la alerta rápida de las víctimas que dieron referencias del vehículo en que habían huido los hombres, y al control de carreteras que instalaron las autoridades como respuesta a la denuncia.
En cuanto a los detenidos, trascendió que ambos cuentan con antecedentes policiales.
El primero registra partes policiales por decomiso de droga y arrastra una suspensión de permisos para ejercer funciones de seguridad privada.
Mientras que el otro tiene pasadas por incautación de estupefacientes.
Con respecto a lo que se robaron, las autoridades indicaron que les encontraron alrededor ¢70.000 en efectivo, sin embargo no fue lo único, ya que a unos metros también dieron con una bolsa plástica con ¢216.500 y $51, así como dos celulares que pertenecían a los afectados y una billetera.
Estos últimos artículos se se presume fue lanzada por uno de los hombres al percatarse del retén en carretera.
Ambos sospechosos fueron puestos en manos del Ministerio Público donde definirán su situación jurídica.
