Rodrigo Chaves firma Ley contra el Crimen Organizado
“Ya era hora de tomar la decisión de movernos hacia adelante como una sociedad que sí está comprometida en la lucha contra el crimen organizado”, indicó el mandatario.
El presidente de la República, Rodrigo Chaves Robles, firmó este martes junto con el ministro de Justicia y Paz, Gerald Campos Valverde, la Reforma a la Ley sobre Crimen Organizado.
La ley busca fortalecer los tribunales especializados que investigan delitos relacionados con bandas criminales, también que los casos relacionados con crimen organizado se discutan en jurisdicción especializada.
El presidente Chaves celebró la aprobación de esta iniciativa en la Asamblea Legislativa asegurando que ya era hora de tomar la decisión de “movernos hacia adelante como una sociedad que sí está comprometida en la lucha contra el crimen organizado”.
La ley regirá una vez que se publique en el Diario Oficial La Gaceta.
