¡Imparable! Sherman Güity arrasa en los 200 metros y se lleva el oro en el Grand Prix de Italia

El paravelocista costarricense Sherman Güity continúa cosechando triunfos. Este domingo en horas de la madrugada se impuso en los 200 metros planos categoría T64 en el Grand Prix de Italia 2023.
Güity, quien ya había logrado su mejor tiempo en los 100 metros planos el pasado viernes 12 de mayo, volvió a sorprender al ganar en los 200 metros planos con un tiempo global de la temporada 2023 de 21.63 segundos, superando a todos los paratletas de su categoría.
“Quiero llegar en buena forma al Campeonato Mundial de Para Atletismo 2023 que se efectuará en París (Francia) del 8 al 17 de julio. Quiero buscar un puesto importante, por eso era importante venir a este Grand Prix de Italia para medir mis condiciones de salidas, velocidad intermedia y los cierres con la presión de rivales”, manifestó Sherman tras finalizar la competencia.
El récord mundial en los 200 metros planos T64 pertenece al atleta estadounidense Richard Browne, quien registró un tiempo de 21 segundos y 27 centésimas.
