“Gobierno sigue golpeando la institucionalidad”: José María Figueres
Exmandatario lamentó la decisión de Rodrigo Chaves de suspender los convenios con CINDE y la Fundación Omar Dengo.
José María Figueres, expresidente de la República, expresó su desacuerdo con las medidas tomadas por el Gobierno de suspender los convenios de cooperación con la Fundación Omar Dengo (FOD) y la Coalición Costarricense de Iniciativas de Desarrollo (CINDE), calificándolas como “golpes”.
“Me preocupa muchísimo que se siga golpeando por parte del Poder Ejecutivo la institucionalidad de este país en los últimos días me refiero concretamente a la Fundación Omar y a CINDE”, manifestó Figueres a un grupo de periodistas este sábado tras concluir la asamblea nacional del Partido Liberación Nacional.
Además, cuestionó la capacidad del MEP para asumir las funciones de la FOD.
Sobre CINDE, el liberacionista expresó que “no entiende” la decisión, más cuando en 2022 ganó el premio número uno como agencia de atracción de inversiones en el mundo.
Figueres agregó que el Ejecutivo debería aprovechar el convenio con CINDE para atraer inversiones de Asia.
