El desafortunado comentario de Ítalo Marenco por el que tuvo que pedir disculpas
El presentador de Giros enfureció a los seguidores de BTS y TFN.
Esta vez la payasada no le resultó al presentador de Giros, Ítalo Marenco, y tuvo que pedir disculpas.
Unos comentarios que realizó en el programa del jueves 11 de mayo enfurecieron a los seguidores de las agrupaciones BTS y TFN quienes aseguraron que fueron “irrespetuosos para la comunidad asiática”.
Luego el presentador empezó a bailar diciendo que él era un BTS, agregando que eran “los Backstreet Boys chinos”.
Luego dijo que su suegra tenía camisetas y pijamas del grupo, en ese momento enfocaron a Rafa Pérez quien hizo un gesto de desprecio.
Como era de esperarse la Unión Borahae CR, la primera fanbase de BTS en Costa Rica, publicó un comunicado al respecto junto al video del segmento del programa.
“En el programa Giros del día de hoy (11 de mayo) presentaron al grupo TFN llamándolos los BTS y haciendo comentarios de burla por parte del presentador Ítalo Marenco (…).
“Desde Unión Borahae CR repudiamos completamente los comentarios realizados por el “presentador” en donde usa el racismo y xenofobia como comedia. Respetamos los gustos de las personas pero no toleraremos las faltas de respeto a la comunidad asiática”, manifestaron.
Después de enfurecer a los fans de las agrpaciones a Ítalo no le quedó más que ponerse seriecito y ofrecer disculpas.
“Ofrezco mis disculpas a los fans de BTS y TFN por los comentarios expresados esta semana en un segmento del programa Giros. Aclaro que lo que expresé se aleja del perfil del programa, de la línea editorial y de la posición de todos los compañeros comunicadores de Grupo Repretel”, dijo.
Marenco reconoció haber “reproducido inconscientemente estereotipos”.
“Reconozco mi papel como referente y por eso agradezco las observaciones que me permiten crecer. Aprovecho para enviar un mensaje de tolerancia y no a la discriminación”, finalizó.
