‘El país más seguro de Latinoamérica’: Bukele asegura que se cumplen 365 días sin homicidios en El Salvador
Con un video el presidente Nayib Bukele informó que han llegado a 365 días sin homicidios en El Salvador.
“Cerramos el 10 de mayo de 2023, con 0 homicidios a nivel nacional. Con este, son 365 días sin homicidios, todo un año”, dijo en una pequeña descripción en su tweet.
Además, adjuntó un video en el cual detalla que su gobierno “alcanzó 365 días sin homicidios, lo que equivale a 1 año entero sin un tan solo asesinato”.
Apuntan a que es un logro sin precedentes en ese país centroamericano: “No ha sido fácil y menos en El Salvador. El país que antes era el más violento de todo el mundo”.
Agregaron que el problema de la criminalidad solamente iba creciendo al pasar de los años, teniendo una cifra superior a los 6 mil homicidios en 2015.
“En los 10 años anteriores a nuestro gobierno solo hubo un día sin homicidios, vivíamos con promedios de 30 muertes violentas diarias”, aseguraron.

Atribuyeron que estas estadísticas cambiaron a la baja a partir del 2019 (la llegada de Bukele al Poder Ejecutivo) cuando pusieron en marcha el “Plan de Control Territorial”.
“Estas se redujeron aún más cuando iniciamos la -Guerra Contra las Pandillas- y el régimen de excepción”, continuaron.
Es preciso recalcar que, durante este regimen al menos 68 mil personas han sido detenidas.
Para finalizar, añadieron que tener años con decenas de homicidios se convirtió en la normalidad para los salvadoreños y “ahora es raro tener tan solo uno”.
