Chaves: “Omar Dengo es una fundación privada, que Dios los acompañe”
“No estamos cerrando como alguna gente quiere decir, Omar Dengo es una fundación privada, ellos que continúen”, indicó el mandatario.
¿Qué hay detrás de la ruptura del convenio de más de tres décadas entre el Ministerio de Educación Pública (MEP) y la Fundación Omar Dengo? De acuerdo con el presidente de la República, Rodrigo Chaves Robles, lo que se busca es generar un impacto en las nuevas generaciones, en la que cada estudiante tenga su propia computadora y reciba capacitación de calidad.
Así lo dio a conocer en una entrevista con el periodista Douglas Sánchez para el nuevo canal de televisión nacional ‘¡Opa!’.
“Con Rodrigo Arias y todos ellos fundando una institución privada a la que entran a un convenio sin licitación y se cierra el telón, se vuelve a abrir el telón 227 mil millones de colones después y no sé cuántos años y uno ve y dice por esta plata todos los chiquitos deberían tener un título en Ciencias de la Tecnología y ese tipo de cosas”, agregó.
El mandatario recalcó que él en ningún momento ha ordenado el cierre de la Fundación Omar Dengo.
