Se sacude el futbol femenino, Carol Sánchez se podría perder el Mundial Femenino por dopaje
La seleccionada fue suspendida de manera provisional por la Comisión Antidopaje Nacional (Conda-CR).
Sin duda que la noticia de la futbolista Carol Sánchez es un fuerte golpe para la Selección Nacional Femenina, que se prepara para disputar el Mundial mayor de Australia y Nueva Zelanda 2023.
Según confirmó la Comisión Antidopaje Nacional (Conda-CR), la defensora y capitana del Sporting Fútbol Club, dio positivo en un control antidopaje por la presencia de “diuréticos y agentes/dorzolamida”.
A raíz de esto la futbolista fue suspendida de manera provisional por Conda-CR desde el pasado 27 de abril, y ahora deberá presentar el descargo para tratar resolver esta situación que por cuestión de tiempo suele ser muy complicada y puede tardar hasta seis meses en los cuales queda inhabilitada de toda actividad.
En cuanto a la presencia de dorzolamida, cabe destacar se usa para tratar el glaucoma, una condición en la cual aumenta la presión en el ojo y que podría conducir a la pérdida gradual de la visión, se dice que la futbolista habría utilizado el diurético como parte de un tratamiento médico que recibió para tratar un trauma ocular, debido a una lesión ocular que sufrió durante la pasada gira europea del mes de noviembre de la Tricolor, cuando se midió a Países Bajos y Portugal.
Mientras con respecto a la prueba, trascendió que a la futbolista de 37 años se le realizó durante un partido del fútbol femenino nacional.
De no darse resolverse la situación en la mayor brevedad, la defensora se perdería el Mundial de Australia y Nueva Zelanda, donde las seleccionadas enfrentarán a España, Japón y Zambia.
