Costa Rica el mejor destino en Latinoamérica en 2023, según viajeros de National Geographic
Nuestro país superó en la votación a Colombia, Oaxaca, México; La Patagonia Chilena, Ecuador, entre otros.
Gracias a los votos de miles de personas, Costa Rica obtuvo el galardón de “Mejor Destino Latinoamericano” en la primera edición de los “Premios de los lectores 2023”, de la revista española “Viajes National Geographic”, convocados para premiar a los mejores destinos del mundo.
En la designación de Costa Rica como ganador, destacó el excelente trabajo hecho por el país en el mejoramiento continuo como destino turístico, la innovación y la excelencia en los servicios para lograr que los viajeros disfruten de experiencias únicas.
El Instituto Costarricense de Turismo (ICT) fue informado oficialmente sobre este premio el pasado lunes y se confirmó en los medios oficiales y plataformas digitales de dicha revista.
Además, se dedicará un artículo relacionado en la edición impresa del mes de mayo. La ceremonia oficial de entrega de los Premios de los Lectores 2023 de Viajes National Geographic se realizará este 25 de abril en Madrid, España.
En la votación de la categoría “Mejor destino latinoamericano”, Costa Rica compitió contra Colombia, Ecuador, Oaxaca, en México; y la Patagonia chilena.
Durante enero y febrero de este año nos visitaron 147 152 turistas provenientes de Europa, superando las cifras del mismo periodo del 2019. Desde España arribaron 10628 turistas, siendo el cuarto mercado emisor detrás de Francia, Alemania y Reino Unido.
