Desaparición de Keibril: sospechoso enfrenta cargos que podrían llevarlo a pena máxima
Si el cuerpo de la pequeña no es encontrado, las autoridades podrían acusar a Casasola de homicidio.
El hombre de apellidos Casasola Salas, sospechoso de la desaparición de la bebita Keibril Amira García Amador de 9 meses, se expone a la pena máxima de prisión.
Habría violado en tres ocasiones a la madre de la niña, de 13 años. Así lo informaron las autoridades este jueves.
De esta manera, Casasola, de 33 años, se expondría a una pena de 74 años de cárcel que por el sistema judicial del país se adecuaría a 50 años de cárcel que es el máximo de la pena en Costa Rica.
Según indicó al medio el director interino del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ), Randall Zúñiga, si no se logra encontrar el cuerpo de la niña se podría acusar al sujeto por homicidio calificado cuya pena de prisión es de 35 años.
Sin embargo, los 109 años de prisión que se reducirían a 50 años porque es la pena máxima que se permite en el país.
Keibril Amira García Amador desapareció la mañana del domingo 9 de abril.
Este jueves, las autoridades siguieron buscando a la pequeña, realizando rastreos en la zona Las Mesas en Cervantes de Cartago. Descendieron por el río Pirris con cuerdas y buscaron en los lugares donde se cree que estuvo Casasola después del secuestro de la niña. También enfocaron la búsqueda en los cañales de Juan Viñas y en un río en Pacayas.
