Cristin Granados: “La gente habla por hablar y no ve lo que está adentro”
La futbolista asegura que los malos resultados de la selección femenina son culpa del equipo y no de Amelia Valverde.
Las jugadoras de la Selección Nacional Femenina de Costa Rica respaldaron el trabajo de la entrenadora, Amelia Valverde.
Luego de los fogueos en territorio europeo, donde la Tricolor perdió 2-1 ante Polonia y 4-0 ante Escocia, las jugadoras asumieron su responsabilidad.
“Supimos lo que es realmente el alto rendimiento. Contra Polonia se hizo muy buen partido tampoco alcanzó, contra Escocia no alcanzó, son cosas que tenemos que mejorar no solo a nivel grupal sino también a nivel individual. El cuerpo técnico nos manda a hacer una cosa y al final nosotras en la cancha… con Escocia fue bastante deficiente y no fue culpa del staff, prácticamente fue culpa de nosotras porque al final tomamos malas decisiones”, manifestó Cristin Granados.
“Creo que nos precipitamos demasiado en los pases, hacemos las transiciones bastante lentas y creo que todas estamos conscientes de eso, somos bastante autocríticas y sabemos que todavía queda mucho por mejorar”, agregó.
“Para nosotras como mujeres es bastante complicado estar en la Selección porque casi la mayoría trabajamos, estudiamos y es un tiempo bastante demandante pero se le ha dado oportunidad a más de una jugadora y ya que no la aprovechen tampoco es culpa de la profesora ni de nosotras”, finalizó.
Katherine Alvarado también respaldó el trabajo de Valverde y negó que la Selección Femenina sea un “club de amigss” como varios periodistas deportivos lo han dicho.
“Yo también lo llevo a la parte de que el torneo nacional el nivel de competencia en Europa no es el mismo, no es una excusa es simplemente una realidad que tenemos, no es lo mismo competir aquí de fin de semana a fin de semana a estar en un torneo donde el nivel es muchísimo más alto, pero es trabajo es lo que nos queda es trabajar es seguir luchando”, dijo Alvarado.
“El respaldo la profe Amelia lo tiene, nosotras confiamos mucho en su trabajo, confiamos en lo que ella hace, club de amigas no sé quién lo dice y no me interesa tampoco, pero se le ha dado la oportunidad a jugadoras hubo un microciclo antes de jugadoras diferentes, viajó gente nueva también. Entonces yo creo que la responsabilidad es de cada una el rendimiento depende de nosotras no depende de nadie más”, agregó.
A solo 100 días de iniciar el Mundial de Australia y Nueva Zelanda 2023 el desempeño de la Tricolor preocupa a más de uno pues en cada partido de preparación no se ven cambios, ni mejoría.
Desde la clasificación mundialista, a mediados del 2022, la Selección Femenina contabiliza una victoria, ante Filipinas, en 14 encuentros.
En la cita mundialista, Costa Rica deberá enfrentar a España, Japón y Zambia.
