Hospital de Cartago asegura que sí informaron al Pani acerca del embarazo de la menor de 13 años
Las autoridades del centro médico informaron que activaron el protocolo establecido para estos casos.
La desaparición de la pequeña Keibril Amira García Amador de nueve meses, tiene a todo el país consternado, y a la expectativa, ya que desde el pasado domingo 9 de abril se perdió el rastro de la menor.
Keibril, desapareció luego de que le fuera arrebatada de las manos a su mamá, una niña de tan solo 13 años.
Esto se dio a conocer por medio de un comunicado de prensa donde el hospital informó a la Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social (CCSS), que si cumplieron con lo establecido para estos casos.
“Desde el primer contacto con la persona menor se activaron todas las alertas para dar protección a la adolescente madre y su hija, gracias a la rápida actuación de los equipos médicos y de Trabajo Social”, expresó la directora del centro hospitalario, la doctora Krisia Díaz Valverde.
“Por respeto a los derechos de las personas usuarias y tratándose de un caso muy sensible que involucra a una niña y a una adolescente, nos reservamos los detalles, pero podemos decir que la actuación de nuestros equipos interdisciplinarios fue pronta, tanto para atender las necesidades y darles las mejores condiciones, como a la hora de gestionar la intervención de la autoridad competente (Patronato Nacional de la Infancia)”, agregó Díaz.
Por su parte, el gerente médico de la CCSS, Randal Álvarez Juárez, indicó que dentro de los protocolos que siguen los hospitales para este tipo de casos es el ‘Lineamiento de atención para personas menores de edad de la CCSS, el Código de la Niñez y la Adolescencia’, y ‘Lineamientos de atención integral de las personas adolescentes de la CCSS’, mismos que son coordinados en conjunto con el PANI.
“Según consta en las documentaciones respectivas el egreso de la paciente y su bebé fue autorizado por autoridades del PANI al tiempo que se emitieron de parte del centro médico las recomendaciones para que el abordaje posterior que se brindara a la madre y su hija se diera de manera interinstitucional y prioritaria de forma que se garantizara la protección de la menor y su bebé”, detalló la CCSS.
