Conmoción en San José: testigo narra cómo conductor mató a peatón en pleno bulevar
El conductor responsable del accidente escapó de la escena.
Este viernes alrededor de las 4:30 a.m. un hombre que caminaba por el bulevar de la Avenida Central perdió la vida al ser atropellado por un automóvil.
Testigos indican que un carro, de color gris, venía desde el Paseo Colón, se brincó el semáforo en rojo, avanzó a gran velocidad hacia bulevar de la Avenida Central, se subió a la acera y embistió al peatón quien falleció en el sitio.
El taxista Eduardo Rugama presenció el lamentable hecho y contó a Noticias Repretel lo sucedido.
“Todavía me siento un poco impactado de ver la forma en la que este conductor imprudentemente atropelló a esta persona. Eran cerca de las 4:30 a.m. Somos un grupo de taxistas que llegamos aquí de madrugada (a las afueras del Hospital San Juan de Dios). Lo que yo vi fue que un carro pasó a toda velocidad promedio unos 80 km/h el cual no se detuvo, pasó por el bulevar en ese momento la persona venía caminando y fue impactada por este vehículo imprudentemente. No podría decir las circunstancias en que el conductor iba si fue por alcohol o por droga”, relató el taxista.
