Autoridades decomisaron más de $10.000 en efectivo a un hombre colombiano que viajaba en un taxi
Los hechos se dieron en la zona Sur del país.
Según dio a conocer el Ministerio de Seguridad Pública (MSP), oficiales de la Policía de Fronteras dieron con el decomiso de $10.086 (5,4 millones de colones) en efectivo a un hombre que viajaba en un taxi.
Dicho decomiso se realizó en la carretera Interamericana Sur, a la altura del kilómetro 35, distrito de Guaycará, en el cantón de Golfito, esto cuando el servicio de transporte público venía procedente de Paso Canoas, Corredores, frontera con Panamá.
Montoya y el dinero fueron llevados a la Fiscalía, aunque el hombre quedó en libertad, sin embargo, el MSP informó que este podría ser procesado por presunta legitimación de capitales.
“Cabe indicar que, tras ser sometido a una inspección por parte de un can entrenado en la detección de sustancias psicotrópicas, la ropa del conductor y la bolsa que contenía el dinero dio positivo. El vehículo también fue inspeccionado por dicho oficial canino, sin que se lograra determinar nada irregular con respecto al taxi y su conductor”, detallaron las autoridades.
