“Que te digan que por ahora no te van a operar lo feliz que me hace…”, Gerardo Zamora
El periodista es un ejemplo de positivismo en medio de las adversidades que le toca enfrentar.
Sin duda que el periodista Gerardo Zamora, es todo un ejemplo de vida, de lucha y positivismo, ya que recientemente se enteró que nuevamente los tumores crecieron en su cabeza y a pesar de ser una noticia que por su puesto no quería recibir, se siente feliz al saber que por ahora no volverá más al quirófano.
Y es que sin duda que será un alivio para Zamora, quien desde el 2019 hasta la fecha, lleva ocho cirugías, debido al tumor benigno que le detectaron detrás del ojo derecho y el cual por más que se opere vuelven a aparecer a los meses en el mismo lugar u otra parte de la cabeza.
Asimismo, el comunicador contó que los médicos están ideando estrategias para combatir los tumores y en este caso decidieron hacer “un abordaje conservador”, además, de que se siente esperanzado en que se dé la opción de ser seleccionado para ser parte de un ensayo clínico en la Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, en Boston, Estados Unidos.
“Estamos explorando con la guía de médicos de acá algunas alternativas en el extranjero y hay por ahí una en Boston, Estados Unidos, que está en fase clínica, experimental, no es un tratamiento todavía oficial o aprobado, pero bueno, de eso se trata de buscar alternativas. Nosotros somos conscientes de eso, de buscar ensayos clínicos en los cuales yo pueda clasificar como candidato y pueda participar, entonces, estamos en esa etapa”, dijo el periodista.
Por su parte, Zamora, asegura sentirse agradecido con los del hospital México, porque todos los procedimientos que le han hecho hasta ahora podrían complementarse con el tratamiento que recibiría en el extranjero.
Por el momento Gerardo, debe seguir tomando sus medicamentos, así como guardar reposo para tratar de llevar una vida lo más normal posible.
