Cartago: “A mi hija no le permiten andar con dos aretes”, denuncia padre de familia
“Mi hija quiere ponerse tape en la boca porque dice que la libertad de expresión de ella está siendo violentada”, manifestó Carlos Núñez.
Don Carlos Núñez Quirós está furioso porque asegura que a su hija no le permiten usar dos pequeños aretes en el centro educativo donde cursa la secundaria ubicado en Cartago.
Núñez declaró a Noticias Repretel, medio que dio a conocer el caso, que él se tomó el tiempo necesario para leer el reglamento del colegio y que la normativa lo permite siempre y cuando los aretes no sean muy grandes.
El Ministerio de Educación Pública (MEP) no ahondó en el caso por estar en estudio, pero indicó al noticiero de canal 6 que siempre es importante revisar el reglamento interno donde están matriculados los estudiantes.
¿Y cuál es la posición de la Sala Constitucional ante un caso como este?
“La línea jurisprudencial de la Sala es que los centros educativos tienen la potestad de poder normar acerca de como llevar el uniforme o como debe lucir el estudiante esto porque la Sala ha entendido que en el proceso de formación de la persona el Ministerio de Educación o el centro educativo juega un papel clave cuando según la jurisprudencia de la Sala, esto es según lo que ya se ha resuelto en casos anteriores, cuando sí existe una vulneración del derecho fundamental, cuando se detecta algún tipo de discriminación”, declaró a Noticias Repretel el vocero de la Sala Constitucional, Alonso Mata.
