Estados Unidos advierte a sus ciudadanos que quieren visitar nuestro país acerca aumento de la criminalidad
La alerta que emitieron es de nivel 2.
Sin duda que la situación de criminalidad que se vive en el país es bastante preocupante, y ya comienza afectar a Costa Rica a nivel internacional, y esto quedó demostrado en una alerta de seguridad que emitió los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica, acerca del aumento de la criminalidad en el territorio nacional.
De acuerdo con la Embajada de los EE. UU. en Costa Rica, la alerta que compartieron es de nivel dos de un máximo de cuatro y tiene como objetivo llamar a la precaución a todos los ciudadanos norteamericanos que visitan Costa Rica.
Dicho documento se publicó este jueves e indica lo siguiente:
“La Embajada de los EE. UU. en Costa Rica informa a los ciudadanos estadounidenses sobre los crecientes niveles de delincuencia, en particular los delitos violentos, en Costa Rica y específicamente en San José. Por este motivo, la Embajada quisiera recordarle la importancia de la seguridad personal y el conocimiento de la situación”, se lee en el comunicado.
Asimismo, aprovecharon para realizar una lista de acciones de precaución para sus ciudadanos como:
- Al estar en un área pública, permanezca alerta y vigilante. Preste especial atención cuando transite por un área desconocida, como al entrar o salir de una tienda.
- Manténgase alerta a su entorno. Abandone el área si no se siente seguro.
- Mantenga un perfil bajo en público y evite salir solo, especialmente después del anochecer.
- Evite el exceso de joyas, artículos electrónicos y llevar y exhibir grandes sumas de dinero en efectivo.
- Esté preparado para ingresar a su vehículo rápidamente cuando camine por los estacionamientos.
- Manténgase alejado de las áreas que puedan ocultar el peligro.
- Evite caminar solo por las calles de noche. Si esto no es posible, camine en grupos de dos o más, o en áreas bien iluminadas.
- Alerta a un familiar cercano y/o amigo si planeas viajar y déjales tu información de contacto.
- Al salir de su casa, asegúrese de cerrar con llave todas las puertas y ventanas y active la alarma de su hogar.
- Cuando esté conduciendo, asegúrese de cerrar con llave las puertas. Incluso si cerró su automóvil con llave, no deje su teléfono y/o bolso en un lugar donde alguien pueda verlo.
- Si es víctima de un delito, comuníquese con los Servicios de Emergencia de Costa Rica al 9-1-1 y denuncie el delito a la policía del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) al 506-2295-3000.
