Una gran bola de hierro hallada en una playa japonesa continúa generando desconcierto en el mundo entero, luego de que ni residentes de Hamamats, ni la Policía local sepan realmente qué es el objeto no identificado. La bola metálica de unos 1,5 metros de diámetro provocó que las autoridades restringieran el acceso al balneario de Enshu.
“Hasta el momento, no sabemos qué es el objeto”, fueron las primeras declaraciones del departamento de la Guardia Costera de la ciudad japonesa de Omaezaki. Desde un globo espía como los avistados en EE. UU. y Canadá, un ovni, una bomba, o una esfera de la serie Dragon Ball fueron las primeras teorías que se difundieron en las redes sociales.

Sin embargo, horas después del hallazgo, las autoridades japonesas descartaron que pueda tratarse de una bomba y que esté a punto de explotar, después de que los expertos utilizaran rayos X para examinar el interior del objeto y descubrieran que estaba hueca, según The Guardian.
Tampoco han encontrado indicios que la involucre con un tema de espionaje por parte de Corea del Norte o China. La presencia de dos asas en la superficie de la esfera, indicaría que se puede enganchar a otra cosa. Esto provocó una explicación más certera por parte de los expertos: una boya de amarre que simplemente se soltó y se alejó flotando.

Bola metálica avistada por los vecinos
Una vecina de la zona fue la primera que dio la voz de alarma a las autoridades, tras hallar el objeto a pocos metros de la orilla, cuando se encontraba paseando por la playa. Sin embargo, otro residente de Enshu, aseguró a la emisora NHK que la bola “ha estado allí durante un mes”. “Traté de empujarlo, pero no se movía”, añadió.
Tras el descubrimiento del extraño objeto, la Policía bloqueó un radio de 200 metros alrededor de la pelota mientras los expertos intentaban, sin éxito, resolver el misterio.
Las imágenes de televisión del objeto provocaron especulaciones en las redes sociales, poco después de que Japón dijera que “sospechaba fuertemente” que varios globos espías chinos habían sido vistos sobre su territorio en los últimos años.
Características de la misteriosa bola metálica
El objeto hallado en la ciudad de Hamamatsu, se encontraba semienterrada en la arena de la playa. Ya que vino del mar, se econtraron crustáceos pegados a la superficie del objeto.
Asimismo, cuenta con dos puntos de enganche en los polos opuestos, por lo que de acuerdo a medios locales señalan que la bola de metal se asemejaria a una mina submariana , aunque ya se haya descartado el peligro de explosión.

Las autoridades ya enviaron imágenes y vídeos de la bola gigante a especialistas de las Fuerzas de Autodefensa y de la Guardia Costera para su investigación.
Asimismo, están rastreando el área para ver si hay más objetos similares ante el temor y preocupación de que pudiera tratarse de una mina marina, como informaron distintos medios locales.
