OPS destaca labor de exministra Chacón en la solución de problemas de salud pública en el país

La Organización Panamericana de la Salud (OPS) destacó la labor de la exministra Joselyn Chacón Madrigal en los nueves meses en los que estuvo al frente del Ministerio de Salud.
“Durante su gestión al frente del Ministerio hemos podido desarrollar excelentes relaciones de trabajo y hemos tenido el honor de compartir su compromiso para la solución de los problemas relacionados con la salud pública nacional”, indicó la entidad.
“Sabemos que no dejará de trabajar en pro del desarrollo de los temas de la salud pública, y seguirá presentando su apoyo a nuestra Organización”, agregó la OPS.
Renuncia
Joselyn Chacón Madrigal, presentó su carta de renuncia irrevocable al cargo la noche de este martes 7 de febrero.
En su carta remitida al presidente Rodrigo Chaves, Chacón señaló que dimite tras causas personales.
“Quiero agradecerle estimado señor presidente la honorable oportunidad brindada a esta servidora para desempeñarme como ministra de Salud de Costa Rica. Motivos personales y de fuerza mayor me mueven a presentar esta renuncia irrevocable a dicho cargo”, indicó Chacón.
“De nueva cuenta, agradezco todo el apoyo brindado en estos meses de gobierno donde he sido atacada desde distintos frentes a causa de nuestra visión de país. Luego del fallecimiento de mi amada madre deseo disfrutar de mi familia alejada del escarnio público”, remarcó.
