Municipalidad de Garabito dice que estas fueron las causas que originaron el deslizamiento en Punta Leona
En total fueron siete las casas de lujo que sufrieron daños.
Luego de que este jueves 2 de febrero, comenzaron a circular imágenes y videos acerca del deslizamiento de tierra que afectó varias casas de lujo en el condominio Altos de Leonamar, en Punta Leona, Garabito de Puntarenas, la Municipalidad de la localidad, dio a conocer las causas preliminares que habrían causado dicho incidente.
Según indicó el municipio de Garabito, las fuertes lluvias que azotaron a finales del año anterior y los temblores que tuvieron como epicentro esa zona, la semana pasada, pudieron ser factores determinantes para que se diera el deslizamiento que terminó afectado siete casas.
“En primera instancia podríamos decir que se trata de efectos de la naturaleza, hemos sido golpeados a finales del 2022, por fuertes lluvias e inundaciones. Contra la fuerza la naturaleza somos muy vulnerables”, indicó Jéssica Zeledón, vocera de la Municipalidad.
Por su parte las autoridades insisten en que no fue sino hasta este viernes 3 de febrero, cuando recibieron el reporte acerca de lo sucedido, ya que el día jueves se dieron cuenta por la prensa y redes sociales.
