Líder narco detenido en Puntarenas fue dejado en libertad este lunes
El hombre de apellidos Chavarría Contreras fue detenido el viernes pasado.
Luego de que el pasado viernes tras unos allanamientos efectuados por la Policía de Control de Drogas (PCD) en Fray Casiano de Puntarenas, se detuviera al presunto líder narco de una agrupación que opera en la provincia, el Ministerio de Seguridad Pública (MSP) informó este lunes el sospechoso fue puesto en libertad.
Según trascendió el hombre identificado con los apellidos Chavarría Contreras, mejor conocido como “Chapis” o “Gordo de Fray Casiano”, y de 41 años, quedó libre tras una audiencia en el Juzgado Penal de esa localidad.
Sin embargo, trascendió que el hombre y parte de su presunta estructura criminal, recibieron las medidas cautelares de no tener contacto con asuntos de drogas, mantener domicilio fijo, impedimento de salida del país y firmar cada 15 días en la Fiscalía de Puntarenas.
Esta decisión fue tomada, a pesar de que se dice que dicha agrupación criminal estaría asociada a la mayoría de casos violentos que se han dado en la provincia últimamente.
El caso que se sigue contra Chavarría Contreras, fue bautizado como “Titán” y se investiga bajo el expediente 22-000551-0431-PE, y la presunta organización es conocida como “Los Caites”, la cual según indicaron las autoridades la semana anterior, era liderada por este hombre y una mujer de apellidos Espinoza Casares, de 26 años de edad y alias “Mimi”, quien en apariencia heredó el “narconegocio” en la zona tras el asesinato de su hermano, quien era conocido como “Cusuco”.
