Tienda SYR tendrá que pagar más de 4millones de colones por ser “transgresores de las leyes de trabajo”
Esta multa responde a la primera resolución de los casos tras la intervención que hizo el Ministerio de Trabajo y Seguridad Social (MTSS) a dichos establecimientos.
Una multa bastante alta deberá pagar Tienda SYR #1 Alajuela, luego de que el Juzgado de Trabajo del I Circuito Judicial de Alajuela, notificó la primera sentencia en contra de las tiendas SYR por el irrespeto a la normativa laboral.
Según trascendió, está se trata de la primera resolución del total de 16 casos elevados a instancias judiciales, luego de que se diera la intervención del Ministerio de Trabajo y Seguridad Social (MTSS) a través de la Dirección Nacional de Inspección del Trabajo a 23 establecimientos de la cadena SYR.
“Con la sentencia se confirman los hallazgos hechos por la inspección laboral, además de que se establece una acción correctiva al centro de trabajo y ordena la restitución de los derechos laborales de las personas afectadas.
Atendimos un caso denunciado en distintas redes sociales, primero como un tema de agresión y luego encontramos una serie de infracciones laborales por las que tuvimos que elevar a instancias judiciales y ya hoy vemos cómo, dos meses después, estamos ante una condenatoria en primera instancia”, indicó Walter Villalobos Fernández, viceministro del Área Laboral del MTSS.
Todo este caso se generó luego de que comenzará a circular un video en redes sociales, donde se observaba a dos trabajadoras de este establecimiento, quienes estaban embarazadas, siendo agredidas por unos colaboradores de la tienda, esto en compañía del que sería el dueño del local, luego de que fueran acusadas de un acto que no cometieron.
